It was an award winning weekend for CWHI at Jamestown Settlement’s annual event, “Military Through the Ages”. This year’s rendition of this unique event showcased over 500 living historians interpreting military life from 500 BC to the present across 46 various camps, displays, or scenes. Over the course of the weekend, 4,000 spectators toured the site while staff judges assessed each organization’s display for authenticity, presentation of historical information, leadership, uniforms, cooking, equipment, and visitor experiences.
CWHI is pleased to announce that it’s display interpreting the 2nd Corps Field Hospital and Ambulance Corps won second place in the Blackpowder Era! Thank you to all of our members who participated and brought their years of experience, knowledge, and work ethic to this year’s program. Without this level of commitment, we could not have achieved such an honored success! WELL DONE!
