In February 2024, members of CWHI made the trip to Florida to participate in the 160th Anniversary of the Battle of Olustee. A great time was had by all! In addition to supporting a fun event and spectacular site, we had the opportunity to meet with other organizations to continue our ongoing efforts to collaborate with reenactors from other parts of the country. We were well received and made many new friends while we caught up with old ones. Everyone had smiles all around despite two days of continuous cold rain that soaked everything. Opportunities at the Wilderness, Kernstown, and Cedar Creek were discussed as well as potential opportunities in 2025, 2026, and beyond. Thanks for the warm welcome!
